Does it matter if you switch Oils??

I have heard from somewhere that you are not surpose to switch between different synthetic oils....don't know if this is a myth or fact.....The BMW dealers use Castrol right, so if i use Mobil 1 for now...will it matter??

however, switching back and forth between full synthetics, blends, and conventional oils is bad for your engine...especially with higher mileage cars...
