FYI mods don't generally add much to the value of the car, if at all. (Unless the car is completely custom and is being sold as a collector of sorts)

I'd say about 20-22k would move this car. Keep in mind m3's are dropping in the the mid 20's and it's a 4 year old car. For you're current asking price one can get a mint M3 of the same year. You do have low miles though, but I've been looking around at zhp's in my area and even dealers are selling them at around 22-23k for an 05. Private parties usually won't get as much as a dealer and you do have some mods, but those rarely add much to the value of the car.

+1 - maybe a little more than $22k. You're going to have to find just the right buyer who really appreciates the various mods and enhancements you've done to get even 1/2 - 1/3 back on the money you spent on it.

You'd prolly be considerably better off taking off the parts that can be easily removed and selling them separately. They'll actually have more value that way.

With such low mileage and being a one owner (who obviously cares a great deal about his car) I'd suggest you drop the price to $28.5 - $29.5 to start and see if there's more interest in that range. You've done some really good and valuable things, so I think having a minimum in mind of about $25k wouldn't be unreasonable.

Good luck. Imola RULES!!

Dealers around here have 04 and 05 zhps with less than 40k miles for over 30k still

OP, id say 25-27k would be ideal for your car.

If you look hard enough they're out there. Doing a quick search brings this up, granted it has a little more miles, but it has average miles for the year and it's from a dealer. With the economy the way it is I'd say it's a buyers market and negotiating a better price shouldn't be a problem.

Heres a mint 05 with low miles also, for 23.5k:

I starting to think that ZHP's are made of Gold.. I just bought a E90 325I Sport, premium with 14K miles -1 Owner-Mint for $26.5.

I understand that they are bad a*# cars, but they are still aging like everything else...

Thanks every one for all the thoughts. I started to set the car up for autox and track @ Willow. Just needs to be chipped and LSD and pretty much done and still fun on the street. Any offers @ $30K would be seriously considered. Understanding finding the "right" buyer for how I approved improving the car. Some people want pictures but unless you are concerned about a bent fender or paint bad we all know what these cars look like especially anyone on these threads...If anyone is interested approaching $30K sure would entertain a serious offer...

Just for quick reference, I'm trying to sell my 02 M3 with only 46k miles on it for $32k and I'll probably be dropping the price on it some more. You should be asking somewhere between $22k-$25k.

Damn! I didn't know 04 330ci's are valued so low now!
I've got + 21,000 and it's never seen rain.....but for $23,000! I might as well keep mine. I was thinking if I could sell mine for $30,000 I might use that to get a 335i. Oh well

All things considered, I believe e46's keep their value quite well compared to many cars. cars are depreciating assets, I believe the general guideline is that a car loses 50% of it's value in the first 3 years on average, and I believe zhps were around 40 something thousand, so 23,000 is even more than 50% and the car is 4 years old.
