As my mechanic friend would say, it's definitely a "compromise". There's always a compromise. If you don't want a loud exhaust, don't get headers. If you want to gain power, you'll have to live with it.

They're not going to answer you. If you ordered from Boombop or Delsa Motorsport, you should be ok.

And I like them, we've been over this 23498723947398473 times. You seem to ask the same questions over and over again.

its a mod i'd consider but i have a rogue dms exhaust - anything louder than that would be too loud for me. suggestions?
As long as you have at least two resonators you are fine. I had a remus muffler, with only one resonator .. ( 2nd was removed awhile back ) and headers.. my GOD was it loud.. bought a vibrant resonator.. Sounds like it used to with just a muffler and the 2nd resonator removed.

There are currently no headers available for a 323/328. What should I do? I emailed a few sellers and he was unsure of when they would be receiving a new shipment

Being loud is not the only con. There are several other compromises already listed in the thread.

That's a funky design... too many pieces. Wait for the tried and true design to become available.

The remus muffler was 499$ from bavauto awhile back.. installed myself as it was a cut then clamp type of axle back. Wasn't happy with the sound, had the 2nd resonator removed and welded with a straight pipe for 80$.

Bought the headers for 250$ from delubozparts on ebay. Install was done myself.. 50$ for manifold gaskets. Then I realized how loud it was.. so 60$ for the vibrant resonator and another 80$ to weld that on.

I guess it was a little over 950$ since last year from the muffer to the headers and labor. The exhaust is at a decent sound level and if what everyone says is true, i've gained more hp from headers than a full catback..
I might also add that the OEM exhaust manifolds are freaking heavy.

Sorry for the poor video, I couldn't just leave my blackberry on the ground next to the exhaust.
