Are these the right headers for my car?

I have a 328i. Are these the right headers? These are the pictures my buddy sent me.

They look just like the other ones out there. The flanges that bolt onto the block look right, and they seem like 328 headers because their post-cat O2 sensor bungs are closer to the exhaust flange than those on the 330/325. You shouldn't have an issue with these.

VHT Flameproof available at O'Reilly's Auto Parts

You ceramic coat the headers, or wrap them in header wrap to prevent the rest of your engine bay from getting hotter than usual because you will be getting rid of the heat shield on the stock headers. You can either send them out to www.jet-hot.com to get ceramic coated, or buy header wrap from Pep Boys, or do what I did and buy a bottle of VHT Flameproof Ceramic Spray from Summit Racing
I picked up VHT Flameproof paint for my ebay headers at O'Reillys Auto Parts for $7.99 versus ordering online & paying the shipping charges. It was an easy online lookup to see who sells it locally.

I picked up a set of E36 headers & magniflow met cats (CARB cert) installing this weekend. Installing new bung holes downstream of new cats per TMS suggestion on their project car. Painting with black VHT flameproof tonight

Awesome. Remember to follow the curing process listed on the bottle.

this is what i did for the VHT, i hung it outside with a wire and looped it into the hole on the end of the headers, i used up the entire can and actually woudnt mind using another can but only used one, anyways, I first sanded the headers with a reallyyyy rough sand paper, then i cleaned it with a wet rag, then i used a torch to heat the header up and then i sprayed it, If your not baking the headers in oven do in on the car, Right away when you turn your car on smoke will come out of your engine bay, dont freak out, its the paint burning off, but you wont see any difference on the header.

Or you can do what I did, lol.

Spray brake cleaner all over the headers, wipe it dry and spray them with the entire can of VHT. Wait 10 min. in between coats and be patient.

Then they were installed, and then I just followed the curing procedure on the bottle. Done.

Thx kpeng for this awesome thread!!!
Since I have an old oven in the basement - I'm curing the headers right now in it per the directions on the can while I watch Germany take on Turkey in Euro2008 upstairs! Since the e36 headers are in two pieces they fit in there just fine.
Ummmm Good!

OK...i'm curious as to whether or not the ebay headers will fit a 330xi. Does anyone know if there is anything quirky about the xi's that would not allow the headers to fit, i.e. drivetrain fitting issues, running gear, etc.. I was also reading the other recent thread on how euro-spec now sells the "same" headers as the ones from ebay. I just looked at them and they are $199. What say you?
