so what about the heat spray on the headers, searched but didnt find anything on summit. help. do we really need this i havent heard this b4

It's nice to have a ceramic coating to prevent corrosion and help with heat dispersal. But it's not completely necessary.

No. They don't have it. They have the Duplicolor one, which according to the bottle, cannot be broken in with the headers on the car, and needs to be baked in an oven. So if you get that, you have to worry about finding an oven you A) don't care about, and B) is big enough to put headers in.

Follow the directions on the bottle. You have to have a break-in process with the headers on the car. It's something like idle for 10 minutes, let the car sit for 10 minutes, then idle for 20 minutes, let it sit for 20 minutes. You do this to burn off the paint part of the spray, so that ceramic is what is left.
