It can be found, but I wouldn't exactly trust someone with that price, lol. But yes, ~500 is the norm while some assholes think everything they do is gold and will charge 900, if not more.

I'm pretty sure he does it for about $200-$250. He's just a fairly cheap shop.

i guess it depends on the shop's labor per hour they charge and the amount they quote the job taking.

He charges us $250 but I think it may be a bit more for others. DIY FTW anyways.

It's nice to have a ceramic coating to prevent corrosion and help with heat dispersal. But it's not completely necessary.

No. They don't have it. They have the Duplicolor one, which according to the bottle, cannot be broken in with the headers on the car, and needs to be baked in an oven. So if you get that, you have to worry about finding an oven you A) don't care about, and B) is big enough to put headers in.

Follow the directions on the bottle. You have to have a break-in process with the headers on the car. It's something like idle for 10 minutes, let the car sit for 10 minutes, then idle for 20 minutes, let it sit for 20 minutes. You do this to burn off the paint part of the spray, so that ceramic is what is left.
