I dont know if Im retarded or what but the only headers I can find for 325/330 on ebay are from trader_nas for $200+. I emailed one of the sellers that has been selling them for around $100 to see if there is an ETA on the ones needed for the m54 engine. Any info on this would be great.

huh? Jesse, I have ebay headers on my car. I also think I got them from trader_nas years ago. Not sure though. Text me lol

Just sent you a text Rotha. I got a response back from "kospeed2008" who sounds like he is selling the ones that fit correctly and he said he is about six weeks out from having another shipment.

Sorry if this question sounds stupid, and may have already been covered, but what about the smell? Is anyone following your car going to notice? Like... cops?
And inside the cabin, is it going to be noticeable?

Ive had headers for over a year. No smell at all that ive noticed. Theres only a minimal sound increase. Zero cabin drone. Cops wont notice.

p.s. My exhaust is stock besides headers

It actually will have a smell. Common sense if you ask me. Catalytic converters are there for a reason.

It will smell like gas. Pray you don't have an exhaust leak at the headers/catback or you won't want to drive the car anymore.

Hello,

I just installed some supersprinter headers in my car . At the beginning there was some smell like smoke and white smoke coming out of the sensors in the engine bay and when I turn my AC ON, it smell like it . After 30m it went away and is gone so no more smell of smoke inside the cabin or under engine bay . However is it normal to have white smoke coming out of exhaust now? I didn't had that before and now I do

Is it white smoke all the time and have you smelt your exhaust to make sure it doesn't smell sweet at all. Also smell your radiator to make sure there's no oil in there.

Also check your oil cap to make sure no white stuff is in it.

This all should take you a few mins Max so get back when you check it all.

I turn the car on while is cold and lot of white smoke came out. I turn it on whole the car is normal level and no smoke comes buy some water . As I let the car idle . White smoke keeps coming out and it seems like it gradually increases by every 5minutes . My tips seem to have water in them . I check my oil cap and looks normal . My radiator seems to have a leak somewhere as there is water down there . My exhaust smoke seems like some toxic smell very strong , I don't know how "sweet" smells like . The smell is not in the engine bay or inside the car. Only on the rear where the tips are .

The sweet smell I'm talking about smells like radiator fluid. Cup your hand by the exhaust and just pull a little bit of exhaust to your face its not going to hurt you unless you stand there for 20mins smelling the exhaust. If you have a sweet smell/taste its your head gasket.

You should probably take your car into a shop or if you know how to do a compression test and have someone to help you do that I would do that.

Sense the smoke is always there.

If you can get a vid I could probably tell you right away if it the head gasket just pm and let this thread be for headers.

I hate to be that guy to bump this, but I've been searching high and low for some eBay headers for my 325, and I just can't find any. Is it possible to use the 323/328 ones have have a shop extend them? I don't see why I should have to pay 170 more for mine when, 323/328 ones are only 91?

I hope you specified what type of car you have to the seller.

323/328 headers are different from 325/330 headers.

Here's a question for everybody I put in a set of headers in a while back. I have a e46 325ci and I bought the headers for my other car at the time which was a e46 325i I figured they would fit so I put then in and there were some slight problems, first off they were to short but i had bought them 2 years ago (long story don't ask) so I had no way of returning them and the oxygen sensors had no way of fitting with out cutting holes through the floor board so I had no choice but to leave them on and ride around with no sensors. Does riding without any sensors hinder the cars performance in any way? Also does anyone no an alternative such as faking the car in thinking that there are sensors but there aren't really or should I just buy extenders for the sensors? At this point I am open to any ideas someone might have. I have also thought about buying a new set but with all the confusion on who and where to buy them from has just mad me more hesitant.
