n46b18 valvetronic replacement!!!!!

Hi. To start with i want to tell you i am new in this forum, allthough i have read alot of threads here when ive been stuck.
I am also norwegian so my english writing is not something to brag about. But i will try my best.

OK, here we go

I have a 2004 316i touring with n46b18 with a faulty VVT. I have scanned with BMW Scanner and a other device called LAUNCHER (or something like that)
I get two faultcodes on the VVT.
1) VVT Activation
2) Power supply limit VVT-Emergency

I've had a problem with my car for two years now. When the car is cold it starts and run like it is supposed to do, but when its warm and i shut it down, and tries to start it again, the EML and ENGINELAMP shows up. To start with(when i first got this problem) the car revs up to 2000 RPM, but now the car wont start at all.

I just bought a brand new VVT, but i have read on this forum that i need to "relearn" the vvt before starting the car again.
What type of diagonistics can i use? BMW Scanner 1.4.0, INPA or carsoft?

I really hope some of you can help me with this, because the norwegian forums doesent....

Best reguards - Rune
