Currently have a 4.4 X5 and I'm thinking about trading it in to cut down on wifey's fuel costs!! Going to check out the car this evening. Sound like a good deal? Haven't heard of too many used 335s selling/being purchased yet.

Some feedback (maybe from current owners) as in what to look out for before purchase would be apreciated.

Thanks in advance for your kindhearted cooperation

yeah we've been on a tear here lately i guess. Wifey insisted on an e46 couple years back, so she got 1. Then she (alone) planned for a family, insisted on an X5, so she got 1. Now she's screaming bloody murder that gas is too expensive, so she's gettin something that burns less gas. She suggested Altima/Camry Of course I insisted it be a BMW (with warranty this time) and the whole twin turbo thing just has such a nice ring to it and it doesn't burn much gas...unless I drive it !

as far as my cars, I just kept upgrading with whatever comes in the dealership where I work. I'm pretty content with my clk...for now. 98 Supra next

I'll post the link for the pics after I decided to or not to buy it.

Suspension, Wheels, Seats. Also, keep in mind that some 2007 335i's didn't come with a factory oil cooler, not sure if you care or not.

Once you get it (if you do) Chip it with an AA chip. You will be making around 400 BHP..........

Your best bet, if you don't care about voiding your warranty, if the Vishnu Procede V2 piggyback which is putting out 400+, soon to be even more with V3. Price is roughly $1500.

If you want to keep your warranty, Dinan offers a Stage 2 ECU flash (for cars equipped with stock oil coolers) that puts out 389hp/421ft-lbs. Price is $2000. Once they come out with an updated flash or 03/08+ builds, I'm going to do it

I've heard that 08+ models have a piggy-back system going on now. If the ECU thinks that something is being added, in which it shouldn't (Procede for example), it will shut down the ECU. I have heard though you can still do a Dinan flash

Only BMW can add their performance chip to the ECU. I believe its like $2,200 for the chip, and BMW is claiming around 400 WHP (Yes, WHP)
