Always order from you guys--great website and very fast!!!

Got a problem that I need help with. My E92 M3 18's are horrible for collecting brake dust. The ONLY reason I wash the car every weekend is because of the brake dust. Short of replacing the brake pads are there any devices that could be put on an end of a drill to get in between, but also reach all the way in?

Thank you for the support I really appreciate it! I understand how tough the brake dust can be. There is some drill bit brushes that I've seen but we don't carry it. My only concern with them is that your high speed drill is buffing in the contaminants. This will create a lot of ultra fine scratches and over time the wheels may look hazy. I would suggest cleaning the wheels first with a product like the Chemical Guys Diablo Gel Rim and Wheel Cleaner Concentrated Suspension. It's safe on all wheels and highly effective at full strength or diluted down roughly 3:1. After that apply a coat of protection with the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant or other quality sealant. They help prevent the high temperature brake dust from bonding to the wheels. If desired you can use the DI Accessories E-Z Detail Brush to help get in those tough to reach areas. Let me know if you have other questions.

How long do you think I can get in between polishes? Do you think this sealant should be used once a month?

The only reason I ask, is because I probably will pull each tire off and clean them like they are suppose to and then apply the sealant you recommended, but just don't want to do that every month.

If you clean the wheels at least once a month you probably don't have to polish them often at all, maybe just the occasional spot treatment. The durability of sealants on wheels varies tremendously depending on so many conditions, but a month is around the right ball park figure. You don't have to have the wheels off though to do a pretty good application. You may also want to look at the Optimum (OPT) Opti-Seal. It's a strong sealant you spray on and it dries clear. I have also used this on the wheels because it's so much faster. Just mist it on very lightly and spread it evenly with a clean cloth/app.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Greg,

I didn't like this foam pad as much as I like your wool mits. The problem I had with the foam is the little squares would come apart only have 4 times. When you are finished with the wash mit or the foam mit do you rinse them out completely with water or do you just ring them out as much as possible and allow to air dry?

Thank you for the feedback I try to keep track of any possible problems with products. I've pretty good luck with this mitt and I even still have my original prototype that is in really good shape. I do rinse it out after each use to help get the excess shampoo and grit out of the mitt. I wring it out thoroughly and let it air dry. I don't get all the water out but certainly the majority of it. It helps extend the life of any mitt. If you use it on certain areas (wheel wells, really low bumpers, etc.) there could be a sharp surface that is causing those tears. If you use it on smooth flat surface it shouldn't rip under these normal conditions. If you have any other specific questions or concerns please feel free to shoot me a PM or e-mail about it.
