i don't have experience with your situation, but regardless if a co-worker of mine would look hot and wants to go out with me, I wouldn't. It would make things awkward in the future, or even affect my career in a bad way. not worth risking it unless you plan on working somewhere else. Just stay in good standings with her and maybe things will change and you'll have a chance to go out with her. Otherwise I'd think really hard before making a decision.

my 2 cents ...

I met my current girlfriend at work, and we've been together for 10 months now, and still work together, it was different at first, but so far its been good. We work in different departments, so i can go an entire day here and not see her, and as far as co-workers go, no one really cares, but again i work at a pretty laid back company. For me, i just keep things in context, when i am at work, i am here to work, and as long as one maintains a professional and objective attitude then things seem to work out ok (they have so far), have fun with it, so long as you are good with whats going on thats all that matters

dated girl, she ended up working where i did. broke up. everyone "sided" with her even know they knew me better/longer etc. made things incredibly akward/just generally bad working environment for me after that. couldnt wait to get out of there
