Yeah I was shivering my ass off today lol. I went out to dinner at Bravo, the new restaurant at west county mall. It was a good time and the food was great

Yo Mike - I'm getting a faint "thud" or "thump" under acceleration / de-acceleration, particularly in 4,5 gear... sometimes 3rd. After some research, I narrowed it down to the guibo/flex disk on the drive shaft, possibly the center shaft bearing. Since you are a tranny guru, do you have any tips, things to look for, or thoughts given the info?

It sounds like I may need to drop the exhaust to get to this which will really suck since I'd have to cut it (it's welded) ...

pat

if it's the guibo, You don't "have" to drop the exhaust to get to it as far as I remember. I'm not 100% sure on it, and either way it's a PITA, but it's doable.

the CSB, then yeah, the exhaust has to come out

Pat how about some 3000k fogs? Might look good on your car. And for photomatix, i did a quick search online and found a serial when i used to have the program on my PC.

So how about a meet soon BMW people... preferably in the evening when we can take some good pictures?
