No, that was with my Stock PS2's. It was quite the scary trip. Saw so many bad accidents. Was plowing on the highway with the stock ZHP suspension.

And I want to lower my car just a tad, wonder if that is such a good idea with the winters we have here. I don't want coilovers because I want the comfortable ride so sprints are my only choice...what to do what to do...

Since I have been putting it off, I decided to do an oil change over the weekend. I usually change it around 8k-8500miles but I drove close to 9000k this time around so my odometer is now at 63,600.

As I hinted in the past I use the vacum method and suck the oil out through the dipstick and it works great in the winter since I don't have to jack the car up and crawl around the cold floor. I also do gravity drains every now and then when it is warmer. Anyways here are some pics:

My stockpile of oil filters, I usually buy in bulks of a dozen.

Opened the oil cap and put the tubing down the dipstick. Car was driven earlier so that the oil is warm and can be vacummed quicker, not to mention the contaminates will be in the oil instead of the bottom of the pan.

Here is the Mityvac which I use to pump the oil out. Took about 15 minutes, I pump the lever about 5 times then go back inside to do other things...wait 8-10 minutes and go back out to pump the lever again. After 15 minutes it pulled all the oil out.

I love how the e46 oil filters are on top of the engine I pull out the old oil filter and oil gasket off of the housing, then use the Mityvac to pull whatever oil is left.

New oil filter and oil gasket on the housing (lubed with oil of course).

All thats left is to pour in some forum approved Mobil 0w-40

I'd do it anyways. But, that's just me.

Lol, of course he does, and why shouldn't he. Everyone needs a Murcielago so they can check out what the tail end of their F-15 Supra looks like.

That is just ridiculous, it looks like the Lambo's standing still as the turbine of a turbo on that Supra spools up. They don't show it in the video but on the last run, a goose got sucked into it and the Murcielago won...

Oh and I almost forgot....

Hey guys, I'm actually from Boston, but I go to Wash U. I recently lost power steering (think its a blown pump, ATF fluid levels look good) and I was wondering if you could recommend any good mechanics/dealerships in the Wash U/Clayton area? Thanks so much for your help!

http://eurotrixtuning.com/

Call them or email them. Ask for Jon. Tell him Pat sent you and he'll treat you right. They are actually located in Union, but you can drop off the car at Jon's place in Kirkwood. That's also why they offer the rates they do ($60/hr).

They specialize in European cars.
