I bought an electrical roller blind for the rear shelf of my coupe, but noticed it was cut! Needs repairing, because the dealer charges 560$ for a new one!

After several hours of work I've done it.

Bought a normal manual roller blind (universal) in an autoshop 97cm wide and 80cm high. I took the whole thing apart and put this 'net' into the elecrical roller blind (OEM, the one in the picture above). easy to do!

Good for everyone who has a cut!

1. On top of the OEM roller blind, there are 2 little screws that you have to undo.

2. Than you can take the 2 plastic corner cover of the top of the roller blind (pull left one to the left and right to the right).

3. Once this is done, you shove the long black bar on top of the roller blind off to the left (note that the 2 pilar have to stay upwards).

4. Now the net is only held by the base. Of you roll off the blind totaly (pull out) you'll see that the net is held by a sticky substance to the turning pipe (the bar that retracts the net).

5. Peel the blind off of the base.

6. Once done, glue the new net from the manual blind to the base.

7. Put things back together and you're done!

Was that just a european option? i dont recall ever seeing one
