Buttonwillow Aug. 1st

My buddy Don is putting on another one of his events at Buttonwillow on the 1st of August. The Bob's Donuts events are always a great success and a lot of fun... tons of track time, relaxed atmosphere, great price! ($200 for the day)

Details and registration are at the following:

http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...=9259&psmode=3

I look forward to seeing some of you there.

No track that I know of rents helmets. Most run groups that run HPDE's allow motorcycle helmets though.

The track itself doesn't rent helmets. The organizer for the event is usually the one who may have extra helmets on hand.

Pyrotect also makes decent helmets. They're around $250.

Yes, they are Snell approved and have a SA2005 rating. The ratings are good for a period of 10 years. SA2005 helmets are certified until 2015 (but are usually replaced before the 10 years are up).

Bell helmets:

It only took me 5 minutes to search. Google is your friend...
