This car has that piece between the tail lights painted, plus the door handles. Looks great IMO but definitely throws you off if you're used to seeing stock ones

So we sold 2 of our 3 GTRs today. 2012 with 19k miles and 2009 with 47k. I got the wheels for the black one back from refinishing and had to put them on (without scratching anything) and get the damn thing off stands. GTRs aren't fun because they don't have a front subframe jacking point, and everything is covered by underbody panels. I guess it's good practice for when I have to do my e46 though

my current 'lot car' - I prefer convertibles with the top down during the summer so that people can yell and get my attention

AP1 with 47k miles, 5zigen cans, and AEM Intake

Got this old trooper all cleaned up today. 1996 S600 Coupe, hood flew up on the freeway, which broke the windshield and dented the roof. I took it for a good drive before I got back to the dealership (beat on it really nice in the wet) and it was happy the whole time, tons of power and I'm super proud of the thing, almost like a human child. I'm going to try to keep it around and get a hood for it and whatnot, but I doubt my boss lets me. So I took these pics just in case it's gone before I get to see it again.

I might shed a tear when it leaves to be honest, I'm insanely sentimental when it comes to cool cars like this. Everything works on this car... power rear sunshade, power rear seats, massaging front seats, all the wood is in excellent condition, both seatbelt retractors are working, and everything is in great shape besides the hood/windshield/roof/bumper corner.

If I had 10 million dollars to my name, I would buy a warehouse and buy up a bunch of sweet cars like this that deserve to be saved. It's truly a shame that they usually get sent off to rot by an establishment like the one that currently employs me.

I love that car. Blows my mind that it has the weight of a V6, displacement of a V8, and the power of a V10. That's a cool piece of engineering

I got to save the S600!! Drove it to our storage warehouse, in the rain, and got the interior looking really sharp

My Pathy and W126 are both featured in this photo

What do you mean "save"? Are they keeping it forever? Somebody needs to take it home and care for it.

Your feelings are similar to mine: and are the reason why I shouldn't be in the car business. If I ever got into the business, I would buy the ecclectic cars I love and never want to part with them. I would make a terrible car businessman.

Though I make a healthy living in my career (and I love it), somedays I wish I could just be immersed in cars. The happiest days of my life were when I worked at a car lot. Carefree. Broke. But loved tinkering with cars for a living.

It was about to go to auction because of the hood incident, and it would have sat outside for 3 days of 3 kinds of heavy precipitation (snow, sleet, rain.)

I guess we're just keeping it until the time is right

What is that other benz in the pic, the 4 door, looks like an older turbodeisel S class, maybe AMG?

It's my Euro 500SEL AMG. Bought it a few months ago needing some engine work

Not my style but holy shit... Owner claimed it put 1200 to the wheels... I'm sort of inclined to believe him.
