Dpreview posted pics and vids samples on their site. I'm impressed. the subjects they shot were ahite lol. I would think once you got use to it, videos will look a lot better. What I'm impressed at is how sharp it is at full resolution.

I don't do HDR so I can't comment if it looks right but here is a HDR photo taken with D90

Some people say that Best Buy has it in stock.

I didn't have a lot of time to play with the D90 but OMG it's nice. the kit lens was a lot sturdier than 18-135mm kit. I think Imma get it. I was looking at upgrading to D80 but this feels so much better. the viewfinder WOW. blah blah blah I didn't have a lot to shoot in Ritz kiosk. ISO 6400 I will try to post them later

I wish there was more in the store to shoot. 3D tracking I want to play with more. I shot with it on but IDK if it was working. the Menu was massive compared to my little D50. One of the things I like was the info button. It nice to have when you use a tripod and can't see the top LCD. And it does some other things too.

ISO 6400

DO it!!! I'm contemplating if I should wait til next month after the family reunion or go this week. Having shot with the D300 last week, the D90 is definitely his little bro. Eli to Payton, Serena to Venus, lol

I can't say much cause I just played with it for 5min. But if you take away the video, it's still performs well. I was snapping shots with the camera moving and still got decent shots. D300 is nice with the 51 AFP and faster shutter. One of my buddies got one for $1300 but why not throw in video (D90). I'm not big on video but I can see myself being more creative with D90

I was thinking about my Sony Camcorder. It takes crappy photos. Now this D90, you can put any lens with a record HD quality videos. I download this one last nice. Even after compressing/converting to iPod, it still looks pretty good at full screen.

nah, nothing special about that. I could get same results from any handi cam? unless I missed something.

and I don't think I would just 'rest' my $1,300. D90 on the dash. . that's asking for trouble.

yeah you are missing it. DOF I have a digicam too and I haven't seen that type on mine. I know it's not a good subject but I'm thinking about the possibilties if put in some creative hands.

There is a pad you can place on the dash that will hold it steady. Shoot I put my camcorder on the dash. That's why they make insurance policies.
