I wanted these wheels but then when I started inquiring, I started hearing through the grape vine that these wheels are having durability issues. Anyone with anything to say about thatm one way or the other?

LOL, I have yet to have any issue with durability of these wheels.

No one has ever bent one or cracked one and trust me, theres a ton of these wheels out there right now.

If "through the grape vine" is another vendor, I wouldn't take their comment to seriously.

Ask anyone on the forum who has a set if they had an issue
