Who here rolls Yellow Lighting????

I just recently purchased some Yellow High Beams and Yellow Fog light bulbs for the 328i Sport....

Anyone else have yellow lighting? Any problems with the local police where you live?

I have used yellow lighting on almost all my cars, and the BMW feels real naked without it....

Really? I have used Yellow lighting in my fogs and low beams for foggy conditions, and rain. I can see better with it.

Ray Ban also made special night glasses, with yellow optics for better visability...

France makes them manditory...

I guess I am the only one...

I think trying to get your headlights anything higher than 6000K is RICE. That is the limit to usable light output, before you lose distance and visability from the bulb. Yellow just brings out detail and motion while driving, and honestly helps you see better...

I guess you guys never ordered light protectant film from http://www.lamin-x.com/....

Yeah, I picked up a pair of Hoen Endurance H7's for the fogs on my 04 coupe. Bumper had to come off anyway so I figured I'd change them at the time.

"Selective yellow" is considered a legitimate alternative to clear glass bulbs for foglights. Not rice...comes stock on Lexus.

I got Nokya for the fogs and high beams. I have Xenon low beams, so I only use the highs out of town, on the back mountainy roads were I live....

$42 later, optimal lighting for Fall and the foggy regions of PA....

btw, those yellow driving glasses don't really work. However, yellow fogs do work and look great.

Used to have some kind of Yellow bulbs on my Honda Civic many years ago, i think they were named Philips Gold. If you looked at the bulb and turned it around the glass shimmered in yellow and blue. They had a soft nice light and made night driving so much easier. Haven't bothered to change bulbs on any of my bimmers though. Not even sure they still are on the market.

Well, with fear from the local fuzz, I am not going to change my low beams. I have gotten busted here in Carlisle for it (too many "off road only" car show products from the famous fairgrounds).

I want 3000K Xenons in the factory housings, but I don't need illegal equiptment tickets.

I'll post a few pics when they arrive. This will be car #3 I have done this lighting mod to, and I will never drive one without.

PS: New 18" rims arrive today, and I will definitly take some pics for them...
