Help installing Jlevi V2 LED into DEPO corners

OK, I just got my set of DEPO front clears and LED V2 from Jlevi. For the life of me I just can't get the LEDs to fit in to the socket then into the clear corner housing. I've followed the Jlevi's DIY and widen the sockets. But problem is when the bulb socket is widen just enough for the LED to fit ,the socket will not fit into the clear corner housing. It is just sooo frustrating trying to get this to work together. I had the V1 LEDs which were fine but these new V2 although brighter are such a pain to get installed.

Any help is appreciated.

now that you widened it, can you go back to the v1's?

I just use the chrome bulbs...

Sure, but they no longer carry the V1 bulbs. Also widening it does not deform it much since its only the end of the socket. I just bent it back to normal at this point. I've been fighting with this thing for over an hour now. I'd go with chrome bulbs to, however I want the LEDs to match my LED tails.

Let me get this straight......

The actually housing (where you screw in the bulb) the LED wont fit correctly?

Or is it the DEPO Corner, when you go to screw in the bulb into the corner. Is that where the LEDs wont fit?

When installing the socket with the wider base, you need to press it into place. Line up the tabs on the bulb holder and press it together. It will be a very tight fit but you can make it work.

Yes, it is the DEPO Corner. Since the bulb holder is stretched to fit the bulb, the three tabs wont fit into the DEPO Corner. It literally impossible to get it in.
