Headlight washer QUESTION

how often does the headlight washer "deploy?"

it seems like every time i wash the windshield, the headlight washers start spraying. it's kinda pissing me off. it's a big waste of fluid, not to mention it gets that crappy blue sh*t all over my hood and bumper.

i thought it was supposed to go off every 5 times you start-up or every 5 times you wash the windshield, but i'm not sure.

any ideas?

yea i noticed they go on EVERY time i use the washer. they dont go on when the headlights arent on though.

The headlights have to be on for the headlamp washers to be on.... If you wash the windows without the headlights on, then the headlamp washers wont go on....

When headlights are on, it will "deploy" first time you wash windshield and then every 5 times you do it.

yeah, i agree with what shd 'said.' this happened to me today when it was raining and i had to use the windshield washer.

I never noticed that before, I geuss its becasue my windshield is always so dirty and I go through fluid so fast.

I wish i HAD headlight washers....which would mean i'd have a ski bag...which would mean i'd have HEATED SEATS...ugggg....leather sucks when its 30 below zero outside..
