Angel eyes with key fob

What I am trying to do is have my angel flash as a luck/unlock my car. I have my angel eyes wired up and all ready. What I have is a remote to turn them on and off (not sure if that changes anything) but they're not wired to the box by the driver side just a ground and to the power cable. Today I wired from the engine bay to the under light in the passenger side and connected it to the positive cable and nothing happens. Am I missing something?

What brand kit do you have? You just have me an idea, I have a generic remote & ,12vdc relay box in the junk drawer that would be useful for something like this...

I have Ijdmtoy angel eyes .. Not sure if they're a good brand I really don't think they are since they gave me a few issues lately just re wired the hole thing. But they look sick. Also the "relay box" are you talking about something on the car originally or would I have got one from the kit itself

Doesn't matter the brand, as long as you can wire a relay into the interior lights. I did it on my dad's m3. If you look into the drug bin there's a little plug you can go through to get through the firewall into the glove box and you'll have to tap a wire and a relay there. Look into umnitzas guide

It's supposed to come with a relay.

Does the wiring harness have a relay?

The proper harness should look like this

Check when you tapped into wires check they have sufficient connection. Happened to me.

I have that black wire connected to the inside light. I had the black one connected to the positive battery terminal where the angel eyes are connected to so they have power through the both wires. Should I connect the black wire directly to the white box ? Also I've been reading about it and people have something connecting to a box on the driver side which I did not do.
