I didn't go through all the pages and will keep searching, but does anyone have info about removing the headlights if you have the winter package?

I was able to release the lower panel under the headlight and pull forward slightly (2004 330 ci), there are two top screws and appears one bottom screw. The headlight seams loose. But the headlight wont come out because of the motor for the lens sprayer.

Anyone have any info or guidance in helping get the headlights out on cars with winter package? A couple of searches have come up empty so far

Wish it was as easy as the video on eas' site.

Thanks in advance
Jason

Thanks, I was able to do some more searching this morning and found a thread, may have been yours and I just got the headlights removed. Found that the driver side motor for the lens sprayer is leaking, so I need to pick up one of those now to. Thank you for the reply.

ok, I have a problem here now. I have the aurora kit and just got the headlights apart and the angel eye rings are not fitting in the black shroud at all.

I have a 2004 330ci, facelift obviously and called EAS and they said they have never installed them in a facelift coupe and that all the rings are the same size in the angel eye kits, so there isn't one specific to my vehicle. And that they really have no suggestions and it would be a full custom job to do them.

Someone else has had to of run into this problem. is there another quality kit out there that is designed for this vehicle?

Here are a couple of pics. Any help would be appreciated.

You need the lights that are made specifically for the "facelift" coupes. They are both same size for high and low beams.

Thanks. I was just on the phone with them talking to Tim and he mentioned that kit, but said it isn't that bright during the day. Not that I really care, but he then offered to put together a kit for me with different size rings if I wanted. suxs that I need to put everything back together and wait another week, but things happen.

umnitza is definitely the way to go...they work good during the day as DRL's and look great at dusk and night...

my concern is them fitting in the black shroud. the guy at umnitza said that you clip them to the shroud, but the top part of it is angled, so I don't see how the ring will be parallel to the lens. And I think for the low beam there isn't a place to clip them, so it will have to be double sided taped or siliconed in place. I just want to make sure they fit. It's like I have the bastard child of headlights. lol

from your photo it looks like you have the wrong style of lights...the set from umnitza(predator orion vII, i believe) is the set you need..they basically snap fit over the chrome rings on your "black shroud"... the other light must be positioned /centered and using double sided tape(provided in the kit) be secured to the shroud...i would recommend using double sided tape on the "snap fit" side also, i didn't at first....after a few weeks of driving it the left side worked itself loose and was dangling and swinging back and forth while i was driving down the road

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the help and phone call sillieidiot. I bought them from a user on here, but I never specified what my car was, so it is my fault for not providing all the info. I had pm'ed the guy and he had a set laying around that he never installed and gave me a good deal on them.

I didn't realize from reading all the threads I did, that the facelift coupes required something different. So far Umnitza is the only place I found that has a specific kit for my car. I will be ordering a set from them monday.

And I have a friend here that has a 2 piece headlight, sedan and I am hoping they will fit his car. if so, I should be able get my money back. Live and learn. At least I am a pro at taking the headlights in and out now. lol

Thanks for the write up LeontiyZHP! Here are some pictures of mine. I used Tamiya smoked tint spray which worked great for me because I just wanted it slightly tinted to stop the corners from looking sort of white in direct sunlight.
