Looks good! Are your corners smoked? Or is it just that dark in the pic because of the lighting?

I have a non-sport so it came with the gross yellow corners, for which there are no replacements. I tried the delete look but didn't the the shape of the crome behind the corners, the part that would be exposed if the corners were removed. I used 3 light layers of black tint spray and it came out matte, which I actually like, because it matches the finish of the headlight housing. It's virtually impossible to see where the headlight housing meets the corner. Looks like one peice, however, when I indicate a turn, the light shines through fine. This DIY basically walked me throught the entire process. I would definately recommend fully tinting out the corners

have you seen it during the day? tinting the ambers makes it look brown in sunlight. that is why we tell members not to do that. i think taking out the corner piece looks fine really. take a look at lakeshow's car. he did it, you can't even tell lol

Yeah, I checked out his car before I did mine. I made sure to put an extra coat on to make sure it didn't look brown. I'll try to post some day shots today or tomorrow.

i see. i would have tinted the chrome part, then used LED bulbs. that way it wouldn't get hot and the chrome doesn't look overwhelming.

That's an interesting idea, I've seen lakeshow's car, and always thought that is what he did, but wasn't sure. But I'd like to see how the tinted chrome would look like..

hmm i could do a test for you (though that was my plan all along). i have a spare set that i'm going to do that to since those didn't come with ambers or the clear piece lol

hmm.. i'm doing my friend's install tomorrow (Friday, January 2nd).. I wish I could test it out on his lol because he wants to smoke his corners also.. Any idea if there will be any problems to use tint film instead of the spray tint?

tint is harder to use really. especially around a curvature like the lense is. damn why can't people just give their clear lenses instead of wasting them on smoking them lol. i actually just need them in amber and i'll be happy. i'm planning to make a mold of it and make my own clears

new pics

updated pics, the angel eyes look a little dim. It was 20 degrees out when I took these and didn't really give them a lot of time to warm up. They are much brighter after warming up and not in direct sunlight, I have a night shot posted above.
