Jay Leno's Garage

Anyone watch this show? I've seen two episodes, perhaps the first and only two, but they were pretty good. It's a mixture of automotive history and technology. Pretty easy to watch as the segments are entertaining and informative. Interviews with a lot of different people from racing to industry to hollywood.

Last episode Jay and Lawrence Fishburn raced the new BWM M4. Jay smoked him! Also saw the Hennessey Mustang GT do 207mph with the stock engine.

I always have to laugh when I see a thread described as "Not Work Safe." Is there anything on the OT forum that's really "work safe"? If I were your boss, I'd be mad if you spent any time on this forum at work at all. How is a picture of a naked girl any less work safe than, say, a picture of a matador getting gored in the *** by an angry bull? - VaderDave

Bummer to see it get beat up, but glad the car is fixable and the occupants were unhurt.

I like the show. He's far more entertaining to watch than the US Top Gear.

Leno seems like a genuinely cool guy. Not sure why he is so obsessed with denim though.

I dont think his show is that informative. Compared to the last several series of top gear yes, but that is not saying much.
I much prefer listening to owners talk about their cars (something like Electric Federal), or small channels specializing in specific makes/models.
