I'm not a big fan of chainbreaker. I feel like they could have done more with it... To me it feels empty and lacking some volume.

This is me assuming but I think the whales vagina has the most at the moment.

Had food and drinks at Bruery provisions. Picked these up.

Went across the river to Indian (Kentucky's disturbers are just so-so) for the first time, and it was well worth the trip! Glad to be seeing some brews I haven't seen since I moved back from South Carolina. I will be making my way up their again soon!

Just a few that came home with me. I <3 Great Divide!

Good IPA from Tampa brewery Cigar City. Had it on tap but tasted good poured from a can, too.

Yeah, that's awesome-the brewery has so many good beers. I was surprised- some of the larger beers are 'dogfish head-esque.' I want to try the 'Maduro' next time.

Not yet. My wife and I are moving from Maine to St. Pete and we were looking for places for the past week- that's how I found out about it. I wanted to go to the brewery but had to keep checking work and living related stuff. Although, on our flight back we had a couple at their pseudo brewery in the Air Tran terminal. Maine has some great breweries so we were excited that Tampa/St. Pete has so many places with great beers.

Perhaps you should stop responding. It's a no-win for you here. :dunno:

went to Kauai Brewery and Grill in Hawaii recently and bought a couple of growlers. food wasn't the greatest but the beer was pretty decent. i liked the lilikoi ale as it fit perfectly with the atmosphere.

Puttin' two in storage, drank the one. Had a nice syrupy texture, smelled like fruits, could taste raisins and dates. Boy was it good.

That's funny, because I love wheats/belgians and Chainbreaker is the best tasting beer I've tried in a long time.

Head dissipated quickly, not enough bitterness for my liking. Being that deschutes makes it, I would have liked some more local citrus hops to compliment the Belgian yeast notes.

Also for some reason I picked up quite the diacytal note in the nose.

I may have liked it more on a hot summer day out on the boat, but it just didn't do it for me.

Last weekend was "Darkness Day" When a local brewery releases their annual russian imperial stout. People waited overnight in 20 degree temps to get a wristband that allowed them to buy 6 bottles. I walked up the next afternoon and some random girl asked if I needed a wristband. I was in and out with 6 bottles in 30 minutes.

Darkness

Tank 7 is awesome. Sixth glass has a rich flavor that goes well with a hearty meal. Tank 7 can be enjoyed anytime and is dangerous in that it's high alcohol but doesn't taste like it
