Has anyone had Batch 19?

It's basically the pre-prohibition version of Coors...it does reminisce of modern day coors...but good

Worth a shot if you can find any

Going for the seasonal holiday brews. Pleasantly impressed with the Brekenridge Christmas Ale. Rich caramel color, good foam head. Hint of nutmeg to the nose. The holiday spice blend is just right. It's merely a hint. Drinks too easy. I could put 6 of these away before I realize I've done so.

I have not tried it, but I've heard about it in the past.

Speaking of prohibition, Happy Repeal Day everyone

But yeah, if you can try batch 19. Basically tastes like good coors (if you can believe such a thing)

I paid $35 for two bottles of dfh 120 minute today.

I'm excited and regretting it at the same time. Going to age both.

Last year I bought 2 for around $25, did they go up in price or is it location? Also does aging help for these, and how long are you going to age it for?

Location, I hope! I don't recall ever paying more than $12ea.

Aging IPAs is typically a no-no, but the DFH120 is so huge that it ages quite nicely. The older it gets the more IPA character disappears, and it tastes more like the barleywine that it truly is.

Drink one fresh, take notes, and try the other one in two years. The hop flavor will mellow (but hop bitterness will remain) and the alcohol heat will subside.

is it available in bottles? I had it last week on tap at The Bruery Provisions, didn't see (or ask) any bottles.

By the way, why is this thread one star? best ongoing thread here.

I've seen the original Innis & Gunn mentioned here- but they have an Oak Aged beer with a Spiced Rum finish that is absolutely amazing! (if you enjoy sipping good rum). Sold in singles, in individual boxes. Sells for $4.95/bottle here at the Beer Store here- so at least double at a restaurant if you can find it. One of the best beers I have ever tasted.

Much more flavourful than anything like Hoegaarden, Guinness, Lowenbrau, Beck's, etc- that have typically been my favourites.

We don't see a whole lot of dogfish head out here in Washington. It also didn't help that they lost a few batches of 120 last year. When I've purchased it in years past, it's been right around $9-10 a bottle. This year however... :/

I found a 6 of this in my local store. I've yet to be let down by Victory Brewery. This is a very tasty pale. I'll be picking up more for sure.

That is more a spirit than a beer. I've heard mixed reviews.
