I was wearing my Duck Rabbit shirt last night and guy I was working with mentioned that his bartender friend came up with a chocolate milk stout. He mixes Youg's Chocolate stout with Duck Rabbit's milk stout and apparently it's heaven. BTW if any of you have never had the milk stout, go find some.

Beers of Note

A new Stone Enjoy By IPA just hit the shelves. I haven't had it yet, but loved the previous iteration. So I picked a few up...

Has anyone tried the Lagunitas undercover? Is really good.

American Strong Ale | 9.70% ABV
The beer is clear light amber in color, with a light tan head which leaves plenty of lacing.
Smells of hops first, then malts, and both are quite strong, with a note of astringent booziness.
Taste is quite sharp with both hops and malt, piney, bitter, toasted malts, with a floral hop and malt finish, which lingers for some time.
Feels smooth, with a light-medium body, but not super drinkable, as this one is a doozie.
Great example of the strong ale, almost an American BW. Very much enjoyed the huge flavors in this brew.

Great description. 100% agree with you on it. Not an easy drinking beer, but an excellent example of its style.

I approve this thread. Not that that makes any difference whatsoever. I like beer.

I wish we could get Brooklyn Brewing out here. I've been to their brewery and enjoyed a lot of their brews. Even their Brooklyn Lager is damn good.

Sculpin and Racer 5 are classics. Anyone try 2013 Parabola?

I was in around RI this past weekend and found myself at The Mews in Narragansett on Friday night. Once I saw they had this on tap, I had to have it. It is as good as people say it is, and the best beer I've ever had:

(not actual picture, they had it on tap and I was too preoccupied to take a picture)

I had sculpin a couple of years ago and remember not liking it, don't remember why. I'll have to give it another go. FYI, they have Racer 5 black IPA now, it was good but still prefer Self-righteous.

Picked these up. La Folie is delish, if you love sours. I have a 2011 bottle stored, wish I had a 2012.
