Innis and Gunn
Brewed and then stored and aged in old bourbon barrels. The result, a bold semi sweet beer with hints of bourbon, very smooth and also pretty strong!

some my favorites, delicious for summertime and not too out of control with the alcohol and hoppiness, are as follows:

Indica pale ale from Humboldt county
stone ipa american pale ale
brooklyn brown ale
all Rogue IPAs
Victory Hopdevil, or even better you upsidedown spoon pour hopdevil/blue moon - half & half = BlueDevil
MagicHat Blind Faith
Smuttynose ipa

Right now I like the darker beers and Ales. One that I buy the most currently is Firestone Double Barrel Ale, I also bought some Spaten Optimator. I am down to try anything though. I like most of the Sam Adams Beers. In the past I drank Kronenbourg, Victory's Golden Monkey, Blue Moon, New Castle Brown Ale. I cant remember some others I have tried. I need to start a beer journal to keep track of them all!

Edit: I have been wanting to try the HopDevil...I guess its good if a lot of people recommend it!

There are a lot of great breweries in that area. Must be something in the water.

ehh.... i like Stella Atois, Gordon Biersch, Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and at restaurants Ill drink the occasional Samuel Adams Boston lager. One of my occasional favorites is the Arrogant Bastard Ale, nicely defined taste on that one.

Definitely tour the brewery. While your in PA, hit up Troegs and Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg, and on your way home, check out Clipper City in Baltimore.

I know, but as a homebrewer, I'm also interested in what goes on behind the scenes. Figured others might appreciate it as well.

What's 471 like? I love their vanilla porter, but haven't tried the 471 yet.
