Picked up The Beast Grand Cru yesterday...16+% alcohol. It was $8.99 for one 12oz bottle, but it's not too bad...just cracked it open. It's thick and definitely has a little bite to it.

I have had them all.. they are pretty good..
I used to drink Raging ***** all the time.
I should go to the brewery, I have a friend that lives in the same town, but we never went..

i've had most of their beers.... one word, intense

very explosive, there is nothing subtle to these flying dogs, so make sure you are in the mood for an exciting beer when you pull the trigger on any of your choices. awesome beers, i have yet to dislike one.

had the double pale ale tonight actually... goddamn 11.5% what an amazing beer... think of slightly bitter champagne haha

The only one I've had is the Lagunitas Gnarley Wine - which is really really sweet and kinda gross. It's 10.1% ABV. 2 years ago I bought 4 or 5 bombers of the stuff when I saw it on sale at the local supermarket for $3 a bottle. I've only made it through one of them.

What did the brewdogs run? I've wanted to try Tactical Nuclear and Sink the Bismark, but can't fathom spending > $100/beer.

The Tactical was $89 and Bismarck was $126. They are my bday presents to me.

The rest of the BrewDogs were $13/ea.

Bday's not until the 17th but I didn't wanna risk the store being out. It's going to be painful waiting until then. I will definitely be savoring every sip of them and let you guys know how it turns out.

I've been aging a 60oz Chimay Grande Reserve for the past 3 years. I'll be opening that one when my wife and I buy a new house in the next few months.

Wow, great pickup! I haven't had much from BrewDog before. I really enjoyed the Avery Mephistopheles.

P.S. Nice car, too. I used to own #3999 before it was hit by a semi. Still miss that car...

No beer for me tonight. Enjoying a glass of Laphroaig 18yo. Very enjoyable. A bit sweet at first, then smokey peat, finish is a lingering oak taste with a hint of alcohol. Very smooth if you like Islay style scotch.

Do we have a scotch thread?

I've had the Smokehead and Isle of Arran and both were awesome - you can definitely taste the scotch casks.
O'hara's is probably the best Irish Stout I've had, puts Guinness to shame.

Anyone had anything from Flying Dog that wasn't their Ragin' B----? I don't like pale ales and tried tried it at a buddy's house - still don't like them. I'm hoping they get their tour running again cause I'd like to try their other stuff.

I'm hoping to hit up Troeg's in Harrisburg Pa this spring - what I've had so far was pretty good.

there where a couple i love scotch threads and another im young and like scotch lol... none of them stuck around.......next time u go out to buy a single malt and want to try something new... pick up suntory's yamazaki 18... seriously a GREAT scotch for the price ~80 bucks

I got excited when I found this beer at a German market by the Carlsbad outlet mall in San Diego. Some of you said that its the best and it really is. It is the best hef I've ever had. So tasty!

The wife loves banana bread and beer so she wanted to try this beer. It was pretty good as well. Tasted exactly like banana bread.

best all around beer IMO.. that and Fantome Saison, however Fantome I couldn't drink every day, too citrus-y
