Dude you have me hooked. On my recent pickup, I literally went into the store and tried to get as many as I could, but they only had those two. Please go get them all so I can, as well as others, see what's out there!
I have yet to try Vitus and it looks yuuummmy

I tried the Original Premium. Weihenstephaner.

Underwhelmed is the only word that comes to mind. It was just very basic beer. Nothing about it makes me want to spend money on another sample.

ya... well i hope i didn't give the impression that it was anything out of the box like flying dog or boulder beer company

it is a simple beer, most definitely... however i think it is done better than many many other beers. its an everyday drinkable beer IMO....

Funny, weistephaner gets you, bottles are much smaller than a 22, so it seems cheap, but in one word: smooooooth!!

Just got back from a bar and had a sampler of Stone brewing co beers followed by a glass of their bourbon barrel aged imperial Russian stout. Fvcking great! Aged a year in bourbon barrels then two more. A lot like goose island bourbon county. I'll be hung over for work no doubt.

Finally tried one of the Mendocino offerings.

Eye of the Hawk has a campy name but this is a good beer. It's a smooth and flavorful drink with just a slight hint of the 8% alcohol on the tongue.

I'll buy it again.

Green Flash Hop Head, delicious! Deep red color and hops popping through. Im really liking Green Flash lately. Bar near me has it on tap, the IPA which is good beer as well.

I've been trying to find some Pliny the Elder! No luck though.

Had some PtE on tap last night: amazing!! Had two actually. If you're in Orange Count area, hit up Haven Gastropub, bartender said they got the keg in a day ago and won't be there much longer!

Also got the Vitus this morning as well as Three Philosophers and a Polish beer, Lazjsk. Pics to come.

Cheers
