i've had some digfishhead black and blue recently.. pic on the bottle is of some old dude with a black and blue eye. like $12 a bottle, but i think it's about 9%. i think it's infused with blackberry and blueberry or some sh*t. cheaper nice hop beers i get in the 12 pack are red hook long hammer IPA, and Long Trail IPA.. both are excellent. I also recently tried the loose cannon ipa from the clipper city brewing company out of MD>. that's some tasty stuff!

HAHAHHA :Werd: sam cranberry lambic is like straight up PUKE in a bottle. even smells like it. IT's the sole reason I only bought the sam winter pack one time. f**in horrible beer. HORRIBLE. you'd think sam would have higher standards than to bottle puke.

The tour was pretty sweet, the guide was hilarious. Plus, its only 10 minutes from Rehobath beach, so I say totally worth the day trip. It only took me about 2.5 hours (google said 3+) to get there, but I left in the morning on a weekday (after rush hour) so YMMV.

The best thing about the whole trip is that the girls I was with were the ones who suggested touring the brewery

How does it compare to DFH 60min IPA? I have seen Laugunitas at my grocery lately, but I haven't tried it yet.

Beer is getting really expensive...I'm paying $10 for sixers sometimes $10 for 4-packs.

I noticed you were in Fairfax. Have you been to Norm's Beer and Wine? They have an amazing selection.

Oh, and I like the Lagunitas better than the DFH 60.

Just had my first Dogfish head 60 minute IPA, man is it good!

just tried delerium nocturnum tonight and still buzzing from it now as I type.... It's some pretty good sh1tt especially since it's high grav belgium beer and a little darker and heavier than the usual high gravs

just had this the other day...rather tasty

While vacationing out my usual stomping grounds I try to get a taste of the local brew. This past week I spent in Wyoming in the shadow of the Grand Teton mountain range. There are a couple breweries of note there. One of which is named after the mountains. The Grand Teton Brewing Co. has an IPA called Sweetgrass. This beer is not the best IPA by a long shot but it was a very refreshing ale after a day of roaming the range.

I've never been to norms. Where is it?

I guess I will have to pick up a sixer of Lagunitas IPA next time I'm at the grocery store.

hahahah truth... a friend and i go out and buy a few sixers instead of mix pack to avoid it now.

Sorry, I guess it's actually in Vienna. I stop there whenever I'm in Fairfax visiting friends, though.

You should really check it out. Just about anything you'd ever want there and the people who work there are knowledgeable beer enthusiasts as well.

I found 2 bottles of DFH 120 minute IPA at a local beer/wine store! $9 buck a piece...oh well, cant wait to crack them open!

I had that orange blossom pilsner last night. A little bar here had them for $1 during a concert they had. Pretty good stuff for $1.

LOVE the seasonal brews.

Perusing the local liquor store intent on wine I noticed Samuel Adams Octoberfest. Not the best Ocotoberfest beer out there but I got a 6 as they were on sale...
