GPS Antenna Cable, Cut By Accident

hey guys, so i'm doing an oem nav retrofit and cut the cable to my gps antenna by accident, is this something that can be easily fixed by using a two way wire connector or do i need to order a new one from the stealership? let me know please, thank you.

you cannot simply butt connect them back together. This is a variant of cable coaxial cable. the BEST way is to swap it out, you may be able to solder it, or you can buy a weather proof splice and the tools to cut and splice it.

I bought a used Nav wiring harness for a retrofit installation in a 325i, and the end is missing from the GPS antenna cable that plugs into the little tail on the GPS antenna. Where can I get this part? Or a whole new (6'?) cable for cheap? Fry's Electronics had nothing even close. If OEM is the only option, what is the part#? (MarkIII Nav Unit -if that makes any difference)
Also, does the antenna mount at the center under the rear windshield, or where? Can it go under the deck, or does it have to be on top?
