KW Variant 1 vs Variant 2

Okay,
Based on my previous post I'm leaning towards the KW coilovers. Now I understand the difference between V1 and V2, height adjustable vs. height and damping adjustable.
Is the $200 price difference worth it. For those of you with this suspension, is it something that I would ever need, or is it just basically for people that track their car etc.?
Thanks for the help.

Also, if anyone can explain the difference in layman's terms that I would understand that would be great.

The dampening allows you to adjust the firmness/softness of the suspension system. Is it worth it? It is IMO.

tough call.

I suspect most people will set it once and never touch it again. Of course, if you track your car or plan on doing more suspension mods in the future, you'll probably tweak it more than once.

So go for it if you want the freedom to adjust your car's ride (softness/firmness) JUST RIGHT for you. With that in mind, $200 seems like a pretty good price to pay...

Your right. I guess in the long run $200 isn't much to pay. How about for you guys in NJ, any suggestions on where I should get it installed - or for anyone else, the setup etc.
