Brake Issues?

I recently got new pads put on my 323. When I started driving down the street as soon as I depress the brake I hear a clunk. It is only as soon as I hit the brakes (it does not continually clank). It only does it when I am going above 5 MPH. I took it back to get another set of pads thinking that it was the bads that were the problem. The new pads still do the same problem. It sounds like metal on metal and when driving sounds like it is coming from the front of the car. I checked the rear subframe for damage and there is known. I am stumped on what it could be. Any ideas?

Did you touch the rotors at all? Your calipers might not be seated properly.

Brake components fit together pretty well. You should be able to really see if something isnt seated correctly.

Recheck your install for loose bolts, and make sure your caliper pins are greased.

caliper bolt might be loose causing it to hiccup
