When I replaced my front CA's again, my steering got stiff. The outer ball joints were worn/loose.

no problems on the e46 except I don't drive it as often as I used to..

On the e34 touring:

-Needs control arms + bushings: will replace this weekend with Lemforders and M5 bushings
-Rear wiper is not working.
-1 drop/day oil leak from the oil pan gasket - not really a problem
-cabin micro filter needs to be changed asap.
-possibly needs a transmission oil change, a diff fluid change, fuel filter replacement, spark plugs, coolant flush, etc... regular maintenance items.

airbag light is on for some reason and water leaks from the upper brake light for some reason, yet the light still works.

god where to start....

Subframe mounts torn
A, B, and C pillar fabric coming off
Window trim falling down
Drivers seat torn at top of bolster
floormats won't stay in place because the felt backing shredded off after 8 years
control arm bushings need to be replaced
paint chips
some dentage
blown exhaust gasket after my header, tis the downfalls of having 323 heards on a 330, the flanges aren't the same size to bolt the exhaust, so even if they are turned, they'll still blow out gaskets

i bet theres more, but thats my laundry list for now.

145000+ miles... car runs perfect but...
1. High Pitch squeel from belt area - trying to fix now and will be replacing water pump in hopes of fixing
2. a "creak" in the dash - a-pillar driver side
3. need re-paint on front bumper and hood due to rock chips and sand blasting....
4. need to implement the door speaker DIY to get rid of speaker rattle....
5. couple door dings (from previous owner ..argh!)

BUT, love my car - it runs perfect, is getting 25MPG in CITY!!!! and, well, it just runs smooth - can do 110 (in Nev desert) and car just wants to go faster!! whooo hoo!!

-Car understeers more with new suspension setup than with stock susp.
-Passenger door can't be opened electrically, needs to be opened manually from inside
-Loud wind noises at higher speeds, probably due to old rubber at the door seals
-Rattling noise from exhaust piping after aftermarket exhaust installed (by shop!)
-One of the drive belts squealing in the front, although replaced not even 5K miles ago

-Not modified enough

Sounds like the window regulators are going
The stance is all f-ed up (sig is shopped)
All four tires need replacing
All four tires are badly curbed (wheels and tires bought used)
Paint is in terrible condition (rust stains, rock chips, swirls)

That's about it though. All in all it's in great mechanical condition.
