Will gasoline dissolve/melt a milk jug?

My classic stang just started to vomit fuel all over the driveway....I was concerned both for the environment, my pets, etc and only had a milk container to let the half gallon or so of gas pour into. I'd say its 3 drops a second....

Please note that I will be soon putting the gas into a lawnmower gas container...but I wanted to be sure I did it right. The gas can is not tall enough to be effective as my car does not sit horizontally and is higher in the back

PS: This happened like three minutes ago. I am keeping an eye on it.

hahahah yes...

It will.

When I was younger, me and a couple buddies filled up 6 milk jugs with gas from the station to make molotov cocktails.

When the police started chasing us, we noticed they were just following the trail and smell of the gas leaking behind us...

Still did get arrested later that day for events that I cant comment on....lol

better start spreading dirt, kitty litter or something else to absorb the mess and prevent a fire.

It is illegal to put gas in a non gas approved container.

I've filled solo cups with gas too many times camping. You have a small window of time to get it to the fire before you have a trail of gas going back to the tank.

I filled a styrofoam cup with gas one time and I was like .........wtf?......it dissolved instantly.

Another time I had the task of defrosting the freezer in the garage. It was an old one that was not self defrosting. I left a package of sausage out on a set of metal file cabinets and the next day I smelled my mistake. I thought I had better clean it up quick before my dad found out cause he would get pissed for the smallest thing. I tried to clean it up with gas because it was handy and it did not work. So I grabbed some bleach and poured that on top. A few minutes later it started smoking. And I was like uh oh...what's happening now... I was like, its clean enough. .. and I ran out of the garage. Take if from a 12 year old. Gas and bleach do not mix well.
