BMW E46 330Ci Rear Shocks

hey guys,

does anyone knows which shocks are better for my bmw model ? Yesterday night i was driving on the bad roads here in chicago and i hit a pothole at about 45 miles/h and i broke the rear right shock.
Do you guys have any idea what shock are good ?

would be ok to use Bilstein - Sport shocks ? Are they better then oem ?
