I agree with the 850Csi, but if we are talking about "past" cars, in the mid 1970's BMW "re" made a handful of special order 1938 328 Convertibles. They had modern components but used the old body parts. Probably one of the best looking 4 passenger convertible BMWs ever made.

(and I of course love the 507 of the 1950's that the Z8 was modeled after).

i personally love the 8 series but i'd have to say the coolest BMW is a Z4 M...those things are unreal

def the 8 man, BMW has made some outstanding cars, but the 8 is just phenomenal.
