ESS vs Dinan Steptronic software
I looked all the theads and was not able to find enough input in ESS step software. I am ready to buy it but I am undecided. Dinan is 300 but I need stage I ecu upgrade so in total is 600. ESS step software is 500, and ECU unpgrade is not required, but I talked to them and they said that since Dinan total is 600 he will charge me 600 for both to, nice. That being said price is the same. ESS I do need to ship and wait it. I know ESS developed the software more recently than dinan, so I gues that is better, It could be more agressive. Anything else?
Any input in anyone that has driven both? or at least the ESS? I dont care about redlining that much, my main focus is velocity of the gear changes |

I also would like to know...
![]() I have the Dinan step upgrade w/ ESS Blower. I was wondering if it'll complement better if I switch over to ESS step??? Well now since ESS has a branch open in Cali, I dont think you need to send it to Norway anymore. (Quicker turn around) ![]() Ps: I had all these upgraded for a while before the ESS came out with their Step upgrade.
