I definitely spoke too soon The Browns looked tough today, so next week isn't going to be a walk in the park either.

You guys hear that Shaun Alexander is coming to Washington on Tuesday and may backup Portis while Betts heals up? What do you think?

I'm partial to it. I guess because I'm a huge Portis-Betts fan. I would hate to see Betts get released if the Redskins chose to stick with Alexander. This is all assuming he gets signed.

Redskins will also be signing a new punter this week Never thought I'd be saying this, but I miss Derek Frost.

I hope Betts heals up and sticks around, but I hope Alexander kicks ass in the meantime

I'm most happy about them booting Durant though...I can't believe how bad he was.

I'll be at tomorrow's game, can't wait. Nothing more fun than tailgating in the FedEx field parking lot

Any chance of them playing down to their opponents level this week like they did with the Rams?

Good game yesterday. I'd love to re-watch the game and count how many times Brian Billick called Santana Moss, Santonio. I guess he got to used to coaching against Santonio Holmes.

Unfortunately, that didn't help much...especially with Moss in and out all game. I couldn't believe how impotent the offense looked.

On a different note...the DeAngelo Hall pickup looks good. Glad they are only paying him for the rest of this season instead of throwing a bunch of money at him early...he'll be out to prove his stint in Oakland was a fluke and he'll be playing hard for a long-term contract.

Even if he stinks it up at CB, we could use him as a punt returner for the rest of the season and we'd still be ok at CB...

agreed on the MeAngelo pickup...speaking of VT alum, who else wishes vinny/thedanny would have drafted eddie royal instead of #11?

How so? Did you even watch the game? It was the offense that couldn't move down the field. It was the offense that couldn't capitalize on defensive turnovers. If Santana Moss could have come down with that deep ball the outcome of the game may have been different.
