HPF Widebody - Is this more of what the Target Market wants?

I did a little Photo Chop on top of another nice chop.

From the feedback that I have read, it seems that the negative feedback is focused primarily on the front and the vents, along with the lines being too sharp. The rear is sick and I haven't really heard anyone hate on the rear. I personally LOVE the rear.

So just as a feeler...would this have been better for a larger target market? I am not the best at Photoshop. If I was good I would have also done a picture with the stock front bumper widened to match and the smoothing would have been better.

#1 Less lip and even softer up front?

#2 Another with the rear smoothed out?

#3

This would have been the one with stock front bumper blended. (Can someone chop that for me?)

Here is the rear:

I redid the rear bumper without the mesh and without the two rear vents that aren't needed.

#1 with more lip and possibly dive plates (if it is supposed to be functional)

edit: Not that it matters, the mold has been made...

#1 is the best front version of the HPF widebody
#2 I like better the HPF lines. Is more BMW style, and reminds me the E30 M3 rear fender. Smoothed looks like a wide rear supra.

About the rear i like it better without any ducts.

I would like to see this kit in blk. The white color expose too much the straight lines of the kit.

1 is the best but the bumper @ the headlights needs to be at the same level as oem and flat the whole way across.

IMO your putting in jagged straight box type cuts into a car which is generally smooth and round. I just don't like it much! I prefer the original lines/curves of the car which flow very well. I suppose I just prefer those lines better much like a F430's curve vs a Gallardo's boxy outlook.

Some more thoughts. It looks to me like someone just slapped a bunch of boxy shapes onto the car! I'll give you applaud for making it but I really don't feel it. It doesn't flow well the front and back go huge while the mid section is standard size there's no sense of continuing flow from front to rear to the eye! U should try to tone it down and try to do something like a CLK 63 Black Series has done. There's one shot the last one from the rear side view that sort of resembles what CLK63 Black series looks like from a side point of view.

IMO, that is the ugliest kit I have EVER seen, ruins everything about the car.

OP I think your asking the wrong questions in the poll. When I read the title I was under the impression that you where asking if what HPF did was what the market wanted. So your voting results may reflect that. If it was me I would make a poll asking the public if they like the HPF widebody, then ask what about it needs to be improved.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey, here is the original PShop I did from the HPF kit. I did not smooth as much as turboaddiction.

turboaddiction take your #1 pic and smooth out the front bumper to match the side, see how that looks.

I also just updated my Pshop so that the front is flat under the headlights.

I'm a fan of #2, but would like it to be flat under the headlights like HiRide's photoshop

# 2 looks like z350 bubble style in the rear/fender section.

Y not just add a OEM like wide body for the rear
and a option for the front?

Chris posted that the kit is done and staying the way it currently is. Just FYI.

There has been a ton of negativity so in thinking from a constructive standpoint, I wanted to see what the members on this forum would feel positive about.

I am not good at all with photoshop and I actually did this off of HiRide'swonderful work. If anyone wants to pchop more feel free. It is moot at this point because the mold is made and the kit is set in stone.
