I think they are good looking. Maybe not the best looking in the showroom, but in no way ugly. I think it looks better than the dated 7series, and the pre facelift e90. I also think and I know I am going to get flamed for this, but it has some better angles than the e92. They Headlights are the worst part of the 1, but I still dont mind them.

the tirerack banner is because the car runs national SCCA events where tirerack banners are mandatory, as well as a host of other stickers.

the owners of the car are multi-time national champions, who have had some extremely sick cars in the past. ie. 3-rotor rx7. many refer to him as 'doc.'

They're okay...definitely not proportioned as well as an E46 coupe, yet even a 128i is an intriguing car in some ways. Compact, sporty, plenty of power, plenty of mod potential, just kind of unsexy/lame looking from some angles.
