In some circles apparently it's quite sought after. Not sure why, though, as my sunroof is *always* open...

No sunroof stiffens up the body a tad.

looks nice...but depends on the price. mine was in near perfect condition inside and out with barely any minor scratches, and the interior looked brand new. i paid just over 11 for mine and it has sport and premium package.

Seriously, I've been looking for a 4 door daily driver for the last 6 months and can't find a freakin Honda in good condition for $4-7k. There's NO way in hell you'd find an '01 330ci in good condition with less than 60k miles for 4-7k that's not hiding some sort of subframe damage or a major engine or tranny repair...sorry. Not unless it's some sort of repo or something...

I'd always be suspicious of a car which is getting repainted.. stone chip or not. My car has covered 90k miles now and I have just had the front bumper resprayed due to stone damage, but the wings and bonnet are spotless. How do you get stone chips on the wings?! (i.e. I would have unbolted the bumper and possibly bonnet and resprayed.

Anyway, bit of an odd question. It looks like a black car... that's having bodywork fixed. No idea of spec or price..?! How is anybody supposed to tell you if this is a good deal or not?

Rich

Normally I would agree with you, but my friend is also a bodyshop guy and almost 2 years ago re-painted my entire car since the paint thickness had worn pretty low. Originally I had asked him to do just the front as well, but he gave me a price I could not turn down. If it's a friend doing the work at a great price, I see no reason to be concerned, especially if you've seen other work they've done as I had.

In any case, good luck to the OP.

There is actually a lot of specs on here listed already, millage, work thats been done, work that is getting done, what comes with. If you look through out this forum you will see a lot about the car. I know its a good deal, price any ways. i was just wondering what you thought of the car or if you had any input.

Thanks for your 2 cents though, always like having more responses!

the fenders andhood really werent that bad but thats my business partner and for 400 dollars to do all that why would I turn it down. All I pay for is materials then the entire car will be wet sanded and buffed. You will see he painted my motorcycle that you can see at www.kickstandwheelies.com and that is a full magazine bike so its not cheap work.

its the orange bike and if you click on gallery at the top its the green bike. Those were both painted by him at dirt dirt cheap prices.

I pay to have it wet sanded and buffed. Not part of the 400 to clear that up
