CCV Help!!

I've been fighting with my CCV for the past 2 days. I cannot get it installed.
How do I do about installing the hoses? I have tried many different methods. Using FCP's video on youtube, as well as BavarianAutosports video on youtube. I cannot figure out which hose to install first, whether to secure the oil seperator first.. Or what..

I am at a loss and extremely frustrated. I have removed other parts to allow for clearance of the twist-on part, but I still do not have nearly enough room. Perhaps I am orienting, or placing it in the wrong direction when I am starting.

What is the easiest, and best method of placing all these hoses back in?

Another conern I have, is I do not have this vacuum line on my intake manifold, as shown in this video, directly next to his oxygen sensor. At the video time 27:24.
I do not have that port on my manifold, but I do have the option for it on my CCV valve. My BMW is a 330xi. Could this be the difference?

Thank you all. Please help me solve this!!

I used this and had no issues. Yes, it did take quite some time to get the hoses into the unit but it did eventually

I had looked at that earlier but it didn't seem to help any more than the others. I figured it out though! Much cursing ensued...

I am now plugging all of the electrical connectors back on. I seem to be 1 connector short from my wiring harness, and cannot seem to find what goes in this slot. It is the brown plug sticking out.

Is there a page where I can see all the connections that the wiring harness goes to?

Here's how I installed the upper hose that twists onto the CCV body:
- tie a 2 foot long string to the upper part of the hose
- fish the hose down between the intake runners
- press the top of the hose down between the intake runners
- tie the string to the oil fill cap
- position the CCV body in its final position under the intake
- insert a large blade screwdriver between the hose and the intake runner forward of the hose
- rotate the CCV body so the top of it is pointed toward the driver's side inner fender and the bottom is pointed at the engine
- line the body and the bottom of the hose up
- using the screwdriver press the hose towards the CCV body
- rotate the CCV body so that the top is up
- pull the top of the hose up

Worked for me. YMMV

CCV Help!!

OP click on the link that Jake posted. Granted I've done this 3 times now. It took me 5 hours the first time, 2 the second time and 1:45 the 3rd time. The most annoying parts should be seating the dip stick, the nut that holds in the electrical box, and getting off the hose that runs along the top of the engine.

It's a short one coming off the electrical box. Get a flash light in there. That is the one going into the OFH.
