I hate O2 sensors.

So i had a check engine light in my car and i needed to do emissions so i tried canceling the CEL and trying to fool the emission guy... ( bad idea ) so i hooked up the scanner and saw it was the bank 2 sensor 2 so i replaced it and i was driving around all happy and then the CEL went back on .... what i see is bank 2 sensor 1 and bank 1 sensor 1 are now bad ..... has this happened to anyone cuz its driivng my wallet and head up the wall. -james

look at the air boot after your MAF...the one that connects to your throttle body. If it cracks it will throw CEL light for o2 sensors. You really have to get in there to check if its cracked its hard to see

am still having this problem, i had a cracked lower intake boot changed it out but am still getting the code, so i think i have a vacuum leak somewhere, am getting lazy or i would do a smoke test to find a leak..

im still have a CEL light after i changed all my o2 sensors ugh!
