I have this Stage 1 kit sitting in my garage. I do not have the dough ($750) to remap the ECU.
My question is, can I just install thing puppy and wait to remap the ECU? I know I will not be running at optimum but atleast I will have it one when I do remap the ECU. Can this be done? |

Um, i'm sure the car will run, but I would NOT even consider doing this! And if you do, don't even think about anything past 50% throttle. Then again, teh car might fall into limp mode right away.

Save $$. Install kit. Very bad things can happen without the proper tune...

Thanks for all the input. I figured this would be the case. Just getting antsy to install it. But do it once and do it right is always the best way to drive (fly).
Thanks Guys |
