Gold isn't my style. That and my brother has gold rims on his red G35 coupe, and I definitely can't have him thinking I copied him! Haha

Well, scratch that idea then! You have endless possibilities that will work well with your car. I think most silver/gray finishes will work nicely. The problem with powder coating is very few actually have any sort of reflective qualities, so going with one that's like our hyper black will be almost impossible. You could always do some black chroming though...

The only issue with that, is the price. It works out to quite a bit of money invested if you decide to plate them.

Hyper black was my first choice, but I couldn't get them :-(

I'll likely go with some sort of gun metal, like you said, any sort of gray/silver works well. I love the design of the wheels though! Not much looks better on an M than VB3's

I agree. An M3 on VB3s really does have a timeless classic look.

Hmm, keep in mind that the silver coupe you see tucking 10" rear wheels is a coupe, coupe's and vert's have more room under their wheel-wells than our sedan's. You would need to pull the rear at least a 1/2" IMO to run 10" wheels in the back of a sedan. Anything is possible with enough money and time.

^ Not entirely true. You can fit a 10" wheel out back with the right offset, and not have to do any major work. 10" wide, with a 35-38 offset fits with just a fender roll. Here is a sedan with 19x10 et38, with a 235/35-19 (VB3's even).

The amount of work is really going to depend on how low you go, what tires you run (size/brand/model), your alignment, etc. So many factors affect how a wheel and tire setup will actually fit.

Not an e46, but I took the wheels off my e46 and test fitted them on my 135i. I like it

Yup, anything is possible with enough time and money, looks like this car is just tucking tire though, not a complete 1/8th (or more) of the wheels as seen (and asked about) on the previous page on a coupe.

Nice! It gives your 1-series a pretty aggressive look.

These are gunmetal, correct? Not hyperblack.

My Ride: 2003 M3 Coupe
Im planning on ordering some V710's on thursday, but I can't tell what would look better for my SG M3 Coupe.
I was thinking of matte black or gunmetal grey!
Possible anyone has any pictures of those?

I don't have many pictures on hand, unfortunately, but I did find a Steel Gray M3 on gunmetal V705s.

Matte black would give you a bit more contrast.
