ok got the VMR V701 18x8.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et 45 today . Im going with 225 40 18 255 35 18 federal SS-595 tires on saturday will post up pics once im home and give it a car wash
800 wheels
490 tires =1290 total
well worth it IMO
edit: o yeah what do u guys recommend for cleaning the wheels . i have the hyper silver finish

Did you get the tires yet?
How lowered are you?

I went with 235/40/18 for the fronts and 265/35/18 for the back and I wanted to do 275 out back.

We recommend just soap and water. Some cleaning products contain acids in them and that can corrode the finish on the wheels.

Post up pics when you can!

i think a 265 tire would work just fine but a 275 would be pushing it IMO . i know M3 can fit them but i mean i dont know for sure . the 255 is perfect for me though here are some pics . you can compare before and after with my sig pic with the old wheels .

I see you are lowered, 265 is the max lowered.
I am going to do 275 or 285 this summer, need moar tire/sidewall.

Looks good! 265 is definitely as wide as you'd want to go without doing some fender work.

This is my first time ever having brand new wheels so i gotta be extra anal about them . im gonna have to park like 2 feet away from curbs at all times .
Niner fan up there has to rip off that plasti dip on the wheels .

Haha two feet is a bit excessive. If you are careful about parking though you shouldn't have an issue. I would recommend utilizing your mirrors when parking next to a curb though.

wish i would have had the patience/time and lil extra cash to powdercoat my wheels before i got tires . now that they are own it probly won ever happen ={

Picking a color for powder coating is already hard enough, then there's the added wait time! You can always have them powder coated later down the road though.
