I cant believe you guys dont like Magnolia's.... They are definitely over priced but I have yet to taste a better cupcake in NYC and please dont say Crumbs. If you have a better suggestion for cupcakes or cake please post!

has anyone ever been to "pommes frites"? I keep hearing good things about them, and one of the food channels ranked them as the best french fries in the country. Ive always been too lazy to head that far downtown, but always wished to try them.

I saw this place featured on the Food Network. That's a lot of dip choices.

i think pommes frites is owned by a jewish woman who was traveling in belgium and loved the frites or fries. they eat their fries with mayo. There is also a place called bfrites in manhattan. I winder if a stand that sold frites would make money. frites and steak... In europe they think that fries were invented in Belgium not france so...

Magnolias has very good cupcakes... went there last december with the gf and she bought like a dozen and ate them all on the subway ride back.

Another great place to eat is some restaurant down the street from Serendipity 3, it was a Chinese/Cuban restaurant... The chicken arroz was amazing!!!
