Thumbs Up The Next HPF cars rolling off the assembly line!!

We've been very very busy around here. Here are some projects that we've finished and some that we're currently working on.

#1) Here's a picture of our stage 4 intercooler. As you can see from the size next to my iphone it is massive. We noticed a significant pressure drop across the core of our stage stage 1-3 cores at extreme flow so we're completing the development of our stage 4 intercooler. This intercooler will bolt in, but will require cutting the front crash support. We're tying the intercooler to rigid supports to make up for some structural losses from doing this. Even with this large core we notice increased spool with our T76 dual ball-bearing turbo.

#2) Our stage 4 system requires the use of both an injector driver box (the same as stage 3) and a 10 channel AEM twin fire which is new with stage 4. This picture shows the new mounting bracket for both of these units which will come with both stage 3 and 4. Extreme boost requires significantly hotter spark to arc the gap thus requiring a hefty ignition system. These units mount neatly in the area where our EMS is mounted on all 01's to 06's.

#3) Evan's M3 left last week and he is now enjoying it in sunny Florida. Here are some pics he took of his gorgeous M3 and his dyno graph.

#4) Oscar's M3 left a couple weeks ago and he just won a show at the Super Autobacs in California last weekend. His car is getting some major exposure so be prepared to see a lot more of this car shortly.

#5) Justin's M3 just left our shop today. He has a gorgeous blue M3 with a flawless interior much like Evans. It's very very nice ride with hot black wheels. Here are some pictures and his dyno graph. Justin... as you didn't have us do this, please correct the alignment and rear diff before you drive this car very far, it is extremely loose.

#6) Ravi's M3 is undergoing some surgery. It was determined that all 6 pistons had the ring lands crack on them. We honed the cylinders to address the slight damage and re-installed some brand new slugs. His car will be flawless when it leaves here in another week or so with an HPF stage 2 turbo system on it.

#7) Brian's M3 is getting a built motor with our HPF stage 2.5. Another gorgeous white M3 getting a serious powerplant installed!! Brian will be road racing this car so we're building it up for the challenge.

#1) Stage 4 Intercooler

#2) AEM Twin Fire and AEM Fuel Injector Driver Box (Mounts next to HPF EMS) for HPF Stage 4 Turbo Systems.

#3) Evan's gorgeous M3 made 626rwhp with Stage 2.

#4) Oscar's crazy Widebody M3 with Stage 1 (607rwhp)

#5) Justin's hot M3 with Stage 2 (624rwhp) leaving for California

#6) Ravi's M3 getting some HPF love and tenderness

#7) Brian's M3 getting an HPF stage 2.5 transplant for the Road Course.

WOW!!! I wasn't expecting to see my engine bay without a motor/tranny in it. Kind of caught me off guard, reminded me of when I pulled my Audi S4 motor and transmission. Can't wait to get it back and terrorize the streets of Las Vegas (including Ray...)

Nice to see so many M3's coming in. You guys look like you're getting pretty comfortable tearing the engines apart.

My guys do such a clean job with the install and motor build, you'll never know it was missing for a little while.

Yes... We've done a lot of engines. Motor builds/swaps are done like clockwork.

Money management...

Try to live on 20% of income...
Don't eat out as often.
Stop spending money on non productive things (alcohol, cigarettes)

Don't have kids!!!

I think it also has to do with Chris's customer service...I think he may have financing by now...I'm sure if you put up enough money up front he would work with you...I think most people would anyway.

I can't wait for him to do mine

PS: I don't know Chris or any of his crew personally...but he and his guys have been very glad to answer my questions and listen to my suggestions...so run everything by him

Chris.
With that being said Chris, does that mean in the future HPF will offer the S54 fully built? I mean things in addition to the pistons and rods such as oversized valves, extensive headwork, cylinder work, cams, etc. and maybe even a stroker kit being offered with the turbo kit package. I've been an avid 2JZ(An engine you and your shop built over and over again) fan by heart and know what it's capable of fully built. I would love to see what a fully built S54 can do with the HPF Kits (Stages 1-4). The thought of thinking that the power will be delivered stronger and earlier is insane.

I'm not a big fan of stroking motors. Several people I know got stroker motors (2JZ-GTE) and later destroked them back to 3.0L. I'm also not to concerned "yet" about the flow capability of the factory head either. Flow may improve with oversized valves, but we're going to have to get there first. We're easily making 902rwhp with the factory head. The real question is, would we make a lot more if we go to town on it. I don't think we're going to be selling built motors except in the case where people are buying our turbo kits overseas and want the built motors for stage 2.5 through 4.

Chris.
